[RESOLVED] Jan 28, 2018 - Open Xchange Portal not accessible

Summary

We are currently upgrading our Open Xchange portal - https://webmail.hostway.com. During the upgrade the portal might be inaccessible.

Note: Email flow is not impacted by this upgrade. Customers using email clients such as Outlook are not impacted.

 

Updates

11:40 PM CT: Our engineers continue to work on the upgrade of our Open Exchange portal.

01:43 AM CT:The upgrade of our Open Xchange portal has been completed and is now available for use.

04:00 AM CT: We are currently investigating post-upgrade technical problems with certain mailbox management features within SiteControl.

Affected SiteControl functions:

  • Mailbox Password Resets
  • Direct login from SiteControl into the Open Xchange Webmail. Please use https://webmail.hostway.com instead.

Note: Sending and receiving email messages through the OX Webmail and email clients such as Outlook is not impacted.

09:00 AM CT:  Our Engineers are working on a permanent resolution for the remainder of SiteControl functions affected by the Open Xchange upgrade.

11:49 AM CT: Our Engineers continue to investigate a permanent resolution to the remaining issues with Open Xchange functions in SiteControl.

1:20 PM CT: We are still investigating issues regarding mailbox management with Open Xchange in SiteControl.

2:42 PM CT: Our Engineers continue to work with priority on the remaining Open Xchange SiteControl issues.

4:14 PM CT: Our Engineers are conducting internal testing on a possible fix to the remaining Open Xchange SiteControl issues.

5:32 CT: Internal testing ongoing for a possible fix to the remaining SiteControl Open Xchange issues.

7:54 CT: We are proceeding with priority on internal testing of solutions to the remaining Open Xchange SiteControl issues.

1:56 AM CT: The Direct login from SiteControl into the Open Xchange Webmail has been fixed. Our Engineers continue to work with priority on the remaining Open Xchange SiteControl issues.

2:03 PM CT: The inability to update email passwords via SiteControl has been fixed by our Engineers.

5:29 PM CT: Intermittent issues in accessing the https://webmail.hostway.com portal through various browsers reported.

5:32 PM CT: Our engineers are monitoring and testing solutions to the intermittent issues.

8:59 PM CT: The majority of the issues should be resolved. We are continuing to monitor the system for intermittent issues.
