How to add additional or remove existing IP address for FlexCloud instance via Management Console 

There are two ways to add additional IP addresses to your instance. The first way is applicable in case you are going to use the IP address for a specific instance (and never going to move it to another).

1. Login to FlexCloud Console at https://manage.hostwaycloud.com or login to your SiteControl account and then click on Cloud Services under Manage Services > FlexCloud Server > click the link next to Management Console Access:

2. Once logged into the Console, ensure you are managing the desired zone (Austin, Tampa or Vancouver currently).

3. Click on Server Instances and then on the instance which is going to get additional/less IP addresses.

4. Go to the second tab – Management Tasks – and click Manage IP Address.

5. Click on the Allocate and Associate IP button, or select an existing IP Address if you already purchased a flexible IP address.

 How to get an IP address that you intend to move between your FlexCloud instances in the future (the first 2 steps are the same as above)

1. Login to FlexCloud Console at https://manage.hostwaycloud.com

2. Once logged into the Console, ensure you are managing the desired zone (Austin, Tampa or Vancouver currently).

3. Click Manage Resources.

4. Go to the second tab IP Address.

5. Click on the Allocate New IP button and then click the Yes, Allocate button on the prompt window. Now you can use the provisioned IP address for any of your instances.

If you have associated the IP address ordered following the second method above, you can move it between your instances with just a few clicks. Just disassociate it from one instance and associate it with another following the first method at the top of this page.
