Adding extra IP addresses on a Windows Server

To Add IP Addresses to Your Windows Server (version below windows 20xx)

1. Log in to your Desktop on the server.
2. Go to Control Panel->Network Connections->Local Area Connection.
3. Right-click on Properties.
4. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
5. Click Properties.
6. Click Advanced.
7. Click Add and add the new IP, with 255.255.0 as the subnet mask.

To Add IP Addresses to a Windows 20xx Server

1. Log in to your server via Remote Desktop.
2. Open the server's Start menu and select Network.
3. Double-click on the Network and Sharing Center
4. Click on the Change Adapter Settings link on the left.
5. Right click on the icon representing your server's network card and select Properties from the menu that appears.
6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click the Properties
7. Click the Advanced
8. Click the Add button under the IP addresses section of the IP Settings tab.
9. Enter the IP address and subnet mask 255.255.0 and click the Add button.
10. Click the OK 3 times.
