Introduction
Your Facebook (FB) location needs to be connected to the platform for NearMeNow to keep your location data updated.
Please refer to the steps below to check your Page Role in Facebook.
How to check your Page Role on Facebook?
1. Log in to your Facebook Profile
(Once signed up for a Facebook account with basic login credentials, you will set up a main profile that represents you as an individual on Facebook by sharing information about you (like interests, photos, etc.).
2. Navigate to your page
3. Below the main header bar, you will find the header bar of your page
Select the 'Settings' tab on the top right
4. Select 'Page Roles' on the left navigation panel
Depending on your page role (If your page is still a classic page, you can set people's page role to "admin" in order to give them full permission to manage it. In the New Pages Experience, you will give people "access" to pages instead of assigning them roles.), you will be able to see all the users and their assigned roles.
Scroll down to 'Existing Page Roles' and find your user.
If you wish to connect to an existing page, you must be the administrator of the page to establish a successful connection.

What you need to do next depends on the current state of the Facebook page.
We put together an overview for you covering all options below:
5A: Connect an existing company page that is managed by you
Search the Facebook location you would like to connect in the list of available options and select the location by clicking "Confirm".5B: Connect an existing unofficial (unmanaged) page
If you wish to connect a location that exists, yet is unclaimed, you must first claim the page through Facebook!
Then you must follow the Option A flow.5C: Connect an existing company page that is managed by someone else
If the Facebook page is owned or administered by one of your businesses (e.g. a franchisee), you can send them the link in the connect flow under ‘Someone else is taking care of your Facebook page?’.
They can then sign in to the respective Facebook account using their email and password and confirm within a few clicks that the profile may be connected to our platform. As soon as the owner/administrator of the Facebook page has approved the account connection the process is complete.
